Loraine Fisher, MSN, ARPN, FNP-C
Lori joined the practice in 2019 having a varied background with experience as a family nurse practitioner in OB/GYN, medical/surgical weight loss, and urgent care. Lori has always had an interest in pain management.
When getting her master’s degree, she did her research focused on pain perception. She believes that effective pain management includes a variety of modalities and that patients and providers work together to maximize control of pain. Sometimes this requires trying different approaches to find the most effective treatments possible.
Lori received her associate and bachelor’s degrees in nursing from Purdue University (Go Boilers!), her master’s degree from Indiana University, and a post-master’s certificate to become a family nurse practitioner from Ball State University. Her nursing career includes having worked in surgical ICU, Postanesthesia care (Recovery room), orthopedic outpatient surgery, and teaching nursing for 10 years.
Her most challenging position has been raising her 3 children with her husband. In her spare time, she enjoys being involved in Church activities, crafts, and traveling.
